Our Story

Khaliah O. Guillory is on a quest to fuel her passion and fulfill her purpose. At the core, she is a Lover of Humanity, Philanthropist, and Visionary. These are a few words that describe her contribution to the universe.

In 2015, Khaliah, buoyed by her passion to inspire others by means of motivational speaking founded KOG & Company. KOG is the platform used by Khaliah to share her perspectives on adversity, love, loss, diversity and a host of other life challenges. Her most thought provoking topics are “Who’s Your #1”, “Diversity Deposits”, and Mogul In Training”.

Khaliah engages and captivates her audience by way of her gift of story-telling, which is inspired by her mission which is to “Inspire one person to be BIG in the world” while offering a fresh take on living a purpose-filled life.

KOG in fact is born of a deep, personal loss. In the summer of 2001, Khaliah’s mother—Cynthia A. Guillory—was diagnosed with Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis more commonly known as Lou Gehrig’s disease. In the fall of 2002, Cynthia succumbed to this disease. Yet hope springs eternal. Determined to fulfill her mother’s legacy of philanthropy, Khaliah discovered her own purpose and founded the Cynthia A. Guillory Foundation (CAG) in December 2011. CAGs mission is dedicated to making a difference in the lives of others through charitable giving and raise ALS awareness in Houston and surrounding communities. Through her CAG endeavors, Khaliah discovered her gift to reach others.

Khaliah’s vast experiences as a leader working for Fortune 500 companies has awarded her Houston’s Next Generation of Leaders Award. This award recognizes professionals who demonstrate leadership within their communities. She graduated from the University of Central Florida, Nicholson School of Communication with a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications and is a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. Khaliah has presented at events including Keller Williams, ALS Association, Dallas Black Chamber, Microsoft and college campuses including her alma mater, University of Central Florida.
